Our Mission

The mission of the Sudbrook Magnet Library Media Center is to promote information literacy, support the curriculum, and provide a setting where 21st Century Learners are supported and inspired in their academic pursuits.  We are also raising a community of lifelong learners.  Through instruction, the library media center has a crucial role in helping to prepare students for academic success.  Students develop skills accessing and utilizing information with the aid of current technology, online databases, the internet, and print resources.

The Sudbrook Magnet Library Media Center strives to meet the intellectual and academic needs of a diverse student population by providing both print and non-print resources on many different levels.  Through instruction and maintenance of a strong collection of books, the media center seeks to promote reading and the sense of wonder a connection with literature can provide.  The Sudbrook Magnet Library Media Center is here to help all students develop a foundation for future education and a lifetime of learning.

Thanks so much for stopping by the Sudbrook Magnet Library Media Center wiki.  Here you will find information about our media center and view many projects our students are working on in their classes.
